Privacy
FounderDeals is a content directory. There is no signup, no checkout, and no email list. Here is exactly what we do and don't do with data.
Last updated 2026-04-30
The short version
- We count page views with privacy-friendly analytics. No tracking cookies. No personal identification. Just aggregate counts so we know which programs founders find useful.
- We never sell, rent, or share data with anyone for marketing.
- We don't run user accounts, ask for your email, or process payments. There is nothing on this site to sign up for.
- When you click “Apply” on any program, you go directly to that provider's site. From that point on, the provider's privacy policy applies, not ours.
What we collect
Anonymous page-view analytics
Three privacy-focused analytics tools count visits and aggregate page views. None of them tie counts to your identity. We're running them in parallel while we evaluate which one to keep long-term.
- DataFast (cookieless): page views, no cookies set. DataFast privacy policy.
- Pirsch Analytics: cookieless, GDPR-friendly page-view analytics. Pirsch privacy policy.
- Muro Analytics: privacy-focused page-view analytics. Muro Analytics.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses, requested URLs, and browser user-agent strings. Those logs help with debugging, security, and abuse prevention. They're retained on Vercel's default schedule. Vercel privacy policy.
Outbound clicks
When you click an “Apply” button, the link sometimes runs through a short redirect on our domain (something like /go/program-name) before sending you to the provider. That just counts how often each program is clicked in aggregate. We don't link those clicks to a person. Once you land on the provider's page, their policies take over.
What we don't collect
- No user accounts. There's nothing to sign up for.
- No email collection. We don't run a newsletter or marketing list.
- No payments. There's no checkout on this site.
- No tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless or privacy-focused. Vercel may set a small load-balancing cookie that has nothing to do with tracking.
- No data sales or sharing for marketing. Ever.
How long data is kept
Aggregate analytics counts are retained on each provider's default schedule (usually 12 to 24 months). Vercel server logs follow Vercel's policy. We don't hold individually-identifiable data, because we don't collect it.
Your rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's usually nothing for us to delete or export at the user level. If you want data held by our analytics or hosting providers, each one has its own data-rights process, linked above.
Updates to this policy
If we add a new analytics tool, change how outbound clicks work, or update anything else that affects what data flows through, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. Continued use of the site means you're fine with the latest version.
